Death Threats
Wade Ewart Cox as the "one man show" and Russell Hilburn complain of "Death Threats" against the Christian Churches of God. They both know this to be a lie borne of hyperbole. The depth of their deceptions is now coming to light. However, their vulnerability to "Death Threats" is well founded. It just doesn't come from a source they would like to acknowledge, for indeed, Wade Ewart Cox has had death threats against him for over a decade now. Wade Ewart Cox is supremely manipulative, but he's not going to get out of this one alive.
The Christian Churches of God under that "one man show", Wade Ewart Cox, must continually manufacture the crises of persecution to retain the membership to contribute to being a giant Cash Machine to indulge the hobbies of their leader to travel and to create fantasy history pieces on his personal website replete with The Socratic Doctrine of the Soul, the Mysticism papers, the treatrise of Ermengaudus, prophecies spun from the whole cloth of the predictions of foul demons through Mayan and Aztec Mysteries, Nostradamus and the nightmares of one of the Catholic Popes. The website is saturated with demonism, mysticism, witchcraft, mixed with a curious admixture of Freemasonry, Buddhism, Arianism, Islam and Judaism. There are papers on Nephilim and how supposedly demon angels came to have sex with earth women spawning ugly violent giants who will never be resurrected: This is beyond weird.
Insisting that the Koran has an equal place of inspiration of the Bible, Wade Ewart Cox manages to discount both as any basis of authority, using his own strange bizarre ideas in a framework of personal opinions raised to doctrine without any foundation except his own recognizance. Paper #16, "Let the Dead Bury Their Dead" is a document of merit, for it outlines the path the Christian Churches of God should take, particularly considering the prophecies listed there as sure to come to pass, which will certainly fail--making Wade Ewart Cox one of the biggest false prophets of all time.
There are well over 300 "papers" in over two dozen languages and you'll find every kind of Satan's Devices there replete with lies, deceptions, hatred and murder in the heart of the author. As for the author, Wade Ewart Cox has not been called "a one man show" by Gavin Rumney for nothing. Nearly all the articles are either credited with Wade Ewart Cox writing the article or editing the article without any other attribution. One notable exception is Paper #118, "The Root of Bitterness", written by Mr. Paul Farnon. It is a curious acknowledgement, since Mr. Farnon was out of the Christian Churches of God as a minister because of Wade Ewart Cox. Mr. Farnon is a very fine man and excellent, though unpaid, minister and his arbitrarily shabby treatment by Cox for defending people under the Church Constitution is a curious one.
Wade Ewart Cox also practices rank deception. He periodically publishes his Weekly Sabbath Messages. You would be surprised that Wade Ewart Cox reads everything here at Coxcult.com and at the Coxcult forum on Yahoo. In fact, Wade Ewart Cox is so twisted that he spends hours looking all over the Internet for any of his critics. This was brought to light when he began to get web hosts to take down websites critical to him by calling them on the telephone and violating the First Amendment Rights under the Constitution of The United States, slandering and libeling the webmasters in the process. He spends hours and hours and hours, using web spyder and other stealth Internet tools to find secret and hidden web pages which he might be able to use in his hatred of his murderous heart. He has managed to create havoc with limited destruction, but for the most part, he has been an abject failure. He is the one who actually has invoked the fear of death threats in an assault against webmasters and web hosts. It is no joke that some have feared for their lives that he would murder them. He is guilty of death threats. How charming for him to turn it all around and accuse those who have been threatened as the ones who have threatened him with death threats. In an outrageous move, Wade Ewart Cox has begun writing Weekly Sabbath Messages and signing the name of some church officer to the message. He has done this to divert attention from the fact that the Christian Churches of God is his "one man show". The Sabbath Message of February 25th 2006 is one of the most outrageous of all. Wade Ewart Cox signed the name of Russell Hilburn to an incendiary piece of garbage about Matthew 18. He wants people to deal with him using the principles of Matthew 18, when he himself has violated it. Furthermore, he lies and makes this statement: "The accusers of the brethren were damaged by the WCG system and they in turn seek to “save” others, but in doing so actually damage others. Recently, they have used this WCG harm to self-justify their assault, even calling for the death of our leaders in the Church". It's the other way around.
Wade Ewart Cox seems never to have learned the studies concerning the affects of deliberate lying on brain physiology. Brain scans have shown that when a person lies, there is a physiological impact on the neural activity in the brain which results in measurable damage. Neurologists note that the damage seems to be cumulative. Every lie that Wade Ewart Cox tells and every deception he practices because he believes the end justifies the means, damages him not only spiritually, but also physically. There are those, of course, who believe that it opens spiritual doors which most people do not want opened. The lies he tells and the deceptions he practices obviously have a predictable impact upon those to whom he lies and those he deceives. There is a five step process which works something like this:
-
The lies are told: People might not have an active consciousness of the lies,
but most will recognize that there is something really really wrong. -
Apathy sets in as people realize they cannot do anything about the lies,
but they must live as though they are the truth:
Look for statements such as, "Nothing ever changes around here";
people lose hope. -
Rebellion sets in the moment the people perceive that they can be free
of the slavery of the lies they must endure:
All it takes is even the smallest ray of hope and they will rebel
if they believe they can get away with it
or the benefits of rebellion outweigh the slavery of enduring lies. -
Vengeance occurs, directed to the liar or liars.
-
Unsatisfying emptiness follows vengeance:
Revenge is never really that satisfying
and what is won is offset by the loss of intangibles.
Wade Ewart Cox needs to consider that the lies he tells always end the same way. It may take time--quite a lot of it, but it always ends badly. It would be better to admit the lies and turn to the truth in a sincere repentance, rather than continuing to ply deception to retain his henchmen. Unfortunately, pride is a constant obstacle.
In fact, we all hope that Wade Ewart Cox repents. Here is one comment by someone from the Coxcult forum concerning him:
There is one thing you won't find among all those web pages strewn out there: Messages of hope, compassion, human kindness or even one on Christian Living principles, although you will find recipes for the Days of Unleavened Bread. The entire site is sterile, devoid of anything but empty pseudo intellectualism bound in the wrappings of pseudo academia replete with erudite Gnosticism. The Weekly Sabbath Messages do absolutely nothing to improve the humanity of the site. In them you will find slander and libel disguised as anonymous character assassination, and some of the worst sort: Wade Ewart Cox insults and takes his membership to task for not going forth and suing people who spew the truth about the leader, runs them down for being "underemployed" [translation: You aren't providing enough money for my private hobbies!], and castigates them for gossiping amongst one another about the deplorable conditions of isolation in a two-bit penny-ante minor cult playing at being a major in the minors. The people don't even have weekly telephone hookups, let alone regular Sabbath Services because their leader doesn't care about them--he only cares about himself. The Weekly Sabbath Message also contains such advice as "don't use vegetable oil because it causes degenerative eye disease". There are gems about global warming and warnings about how the leader can't trust the membership, all mixed up in a totally weird package including certain teachings of Islam. Frankly, the whole thing might as well have been created by an android devoid of emotion but having a self-righteous narcissistic great swelling ego.
To say that the entire religion has nothing to offer anyone is an understatement. There is no benefit whatsoever. Salvation will never be achieved by honoring Satan the Devil with undo attention and promoting his forgiveness as the brother of Christ. It gets stranger and stranger and weirder and weirder. The only attraction to the Christian Churches of God is that it is against everything and everybody, making it a home for naive malcontents. It has such limited appeal that out of the some nearly seven billion people on the planet earth, only less than 100 have been attracted to the venue. Some come and leave quickly when they find out what the CCG and Wade Ewart Cox are all about: Empty ritual, devoid of real faith and a dose of paranoia mixed with hatred for all that is human and even godly. Those who stay are deceived, believing they are doing "God's Will", while they are violating the laws and ordinances He set forth in Scripture without so much as realizing it. The people are carefully qualified and culled over a three year period to insure that only those mired in details without the ability to see the big picture and can be manipulated effectively as being completely clueless by an arbitrary despot will become full voting members. Those who want in must sign an oath--something that Christians are prohibited from doing. It goes downhill from there. New attendees must sit in their homes every Sabbath and study papers from the Internet of the website and listen to audio tapes of Wade Ewart Cox. Nothing they ever knew about faith and the Bible count for anything and they must start over. The reason they must start over is that this is a man made religion which makes no rational sense. No wonder they have to start from scratch, because they must understand the blatherings of the distorted perceptions of a criminally insane psychopath. There is nothing like it because it is unique from the warped mind of a leader who has gone around the bend. No one else is teaching this stuff--guaranteed! The religion is a monotheistic Islam type Christian religion which pretty much demands alcohol and lots of red meat, without vegetable oil. It is weird beyond strange.
One of the many problems of the Christian Churches of God website is their lack of accuracy. The web pages get really sloppy, particularly in the arena of the Sabbath Message. It appears that Wade Ewart Cox is writing the Sabbath Messages, but is putting the names of other people as authors, so that it will appear that the Christian Churches of God is not a "one man show". It is also probable that if others do author some parts of text, they are told what to say and then the article is heavily edited by Wade Ewart Cox. Unfortunately, the wording is quite distinctive and Wade Ewart Cox has even done a sloppy job in his ghostwriting. There is now a parade of new "authors" for the Wade Ewart Cox One Man Show for Sabbath Messages beginning in 2006. This fools no one except for the membership who all seem to be in a stupid altered state too numb to recognize how they are being deceived. Part of this is deliberate on the part of the leadership: Members are far and few between, isolated and only meet three times a year at most. They do not have a broadcast, telecast, magazine or even booklets, no regular Sabbath Services and there isn't even a telephone hookup. They don't really communicate with one another and are discouraged from meeting without a "minister" or lead person being present. The arrangement is optimized for estranged isolated manipulation. The members are continually manipulated by being given lies and utterly false data to accept as gospel truth. One such example is found in the Sabbath Message of March 11th 2006: A supposedly Reg Scott [probably Wade Ewart Cox] claims, "The UK has a population of roughly 60 million occupying an area about the size of Oregon, and is the second most densely-populated country in Europe (after Holland)". As a supposed Coordinator of the UK and one who in theory is concerned about the Ninth Commandment, the man is appalling in his carelessness of simple facts. Holland is only a part of the Kingdom of the United Netherlands. The UK is NOT the second most densely-populated in Europe. The following countries in Europe are given with the population per square kilometer from the Yearbook 2004 Encyclopaedia Britannica: Monaco 16,615; Malta 1,263; Netherlands 479; Belgium 338; United Kingdom 242; Germany 231; Oregon 14. The leadership of the Christian Churches of God simply make up stuff from the top of their little pointy heads and it is insulting to call it the truth. To quote Reg (?) himself off the web page: "That is a pretty sobering indictment.". Reg (?) writes:
As part of the biblical nation of Israel, we were once promised that following God’s Laws would result in blessings (Deuteronomy 28:1-14) but that disobedience would incur punishment or curses as an automatic - though not necessarily immediate - consequence (verses 15-68).
Those promises, particularly with respect to a number of the curses, are worth looking at in some detail in order to determine the true state of this nation today. After all, the verses mentioning the curses outnumber those describing the blessings by a factor of almost 4 to 1. There must be a reason for this. It may be that, as we are a physical and carnal people, God in His Omniscience knew that we’d require more of the ‘stick’ than the ‘carrot’ to make us ‘dumb asses’ listen and respond to Him. And, as we know, the Law of God applies to all mankind.
To Reg: This is a covenant that God made with the Nation of Israel just after it came out of Egypt, not to all mankind, you spiritual moron. Deuteronomy 28 was for a physical nation, not a spiritual temple. You know nothing. You also seem to forget the Scripture about "Judgment begins at the House of God". The curses will accrue to the Christian Churches of God first and its leadership long before it hits the nation you live in, guaranteed.
Reg goes on and compounds the error with the following points:
- We have been given the incredible task of being priests to our nations.
- May our merciful Father in Heaven not say of us that we have been “weighed in the balances and found wanting” (Dan. 5:27).
- Therefore, let us be about our Father’s business.
What unbelievable blind arrogant blasphemy. It's hard to be a priest to a nation while being weighed in the balances with your finger on the scale. This is the blind leading the blind, who need to have eight foot 12 by 12s removed from their corneas. Yes, they have been given (By the absolute pope Wade Ewart Cox ex cathedra, no doubt) the incredible task of being priests to our nations. Things aren't going very well. They can't even follow their own Church Constitution, let alone the Constitution of the nation in which they have citizenship. It's even worse when they go outside of their own country to violate the constitution of another sovereign nation. Someone should sue them for rank incompetence.
Time, space and effort are insufficient to cover all the blunders and errors on the CCG website: Talk about simple and erroneous! The sad part is everyone connected with the whole mess refuses to take any responsibility for the egregious errors and there is absolutely no accountability. It's maddening to find such stubborn refusal to repent.
As for being about their Father's business--at least they have that right: Their father is pretty obviously Satan the Devil. Nevertheless, they are so enmeshed in mediocrity that they aren't even all that particularly competent in doing evil, as this particular Sabbath Message demonstrates. To quote out of context: "we are preoccupied principally with gaining our own salvation, or to be proven right" and "there’s a good chance that we haven’t ‘caught the vision’". Truer words could hardly be spoken without some additional effort.
The Sabbath Message of March 18th 2006, this time by someone claiming to be Juan Boshoff, Regional Coordinator of South Africa, gets even better. He is obviously again reaching for the office of Martyr for his illustrious leader, unless it is the illustrious leader himself under a pseudonym or false pretenses, of course. [The word "rubbish" is always a good indicator!] Yes, according to this message, the attacks of Satan are intensifying. No mention of rank incompetence is made. Rank incompetence would be a better explanation. After all, arrogance severs relationships, and, in the case of Wade Ewart Cox, rather effectively, quickly and efficiently, especially when accompanied by a sovereign disfellowshipment. We are assured that "Satan is focusing on our leadership". To give them his constant inspiration, no doubt. Juan, or whoever he might be says:
We need to constantly fast and pray for our leaders and for one another so that we may hold fast to the truth revealed to us by God through His anointed servants.
A good place to start would be to pray that the leadership repent and be converted. These kind come not out except by prayer and fasting.
"The attacks on God’s Church are increasingly becoming more and more severe each year." The Christian Churches of God is misnomer: It is not God's Church. If you don't believe the Coxcult Project, just check out how much of the footprint of the website is dedicated to the repentance of Satan as Christ's brother and you'll get a glimpse of whose church the CCg is.
"It is particularly sad when one of our people who appeared so zealous during the feast, suddenly realised that it was too burdensome to keep God’s Laws, Sabbaths, New Moons and Feast days and returned to the world of Sunday keepers." Just like that? Are you sure it wasn't to Islam? Nearly two percent of your worldwide membership, gone--just like that! "The road on which we are travelling is not covered with roses, indeed it is rather covered with thorns and thistles." Planted, no doubt, by your leader for whom you are fasting. "Let us love one another and pray for each other constantly, also for those who accuse us or spitefully use us."
As opposed to slandering them and libeling them, belittling them and calling them the simple and erroneous? Why start now? What's changed? The Christian Churches of God have been accusing and spitefully using their own membership for the longest time and now have broken out into the big time by meddling in other countries to take down websites. And you don't even have the balance sheet for your own church, do you? Where'd the money go? What did the people in your country get for it?
And where all these people at this time? Weren't they all disfellowshipped or left in disgust?
Of greater danger is not just the idiotic teachings of a nut case, but the intentional foul play of bad behavior plied by the lying chief. That he is a liar is well established. There is case after case of bad behavior involving lies and deception. One of the most obvious lies is that of the teaching of tithing. It is inconsistent. Wade Ewart Cox teaches that no one should pay any tithes in the seventh year land Sabbath, even to the extent of bragging that anyone who sends in a check marked as a "tithe" will have it sent back. At the same time, he sent forth a Sabbath Message in 2004 telling people that they needed to tithe on their increase in the seventh year because it is required, but they could take the year off as a Sabbatical. Farmers, definitely, should not tithe because they had no produce. There are double blessings in the sixth year to tide the farmer over--blessings which never occur in the real world--ask the farmer in the CCG who had to borrow money in the seventh year to survive. In a later Sabbath Message he again reversed himself about people who must tithe on their increase and said that they should not, referencing Paper 161 on tithing. Anyone with even limited intelligence should be very confused: Wade Ewart Cox is self-contradictory. He advises people that they need to give offerings. The offerings are to be 10% of their increase. This is rank Satanic deception. Come on, a tithe is 10%. The only people you are kidding is the membership. And it's working. Liar! But Wade Ewart Cox is not just a liar. He is also simple and erroneous. He doesn't seem to know one thing about the Bible: He doesn't address the issue of fruit trees which have a different basis for "tithing" which ruins everything in his tiny artificial universe of unreality.
It has been pointed out before just how Satanic the mysticism of the Christian Churches of God is under that "one man show", Wade Ewart Cox in the article about mysticism. In it, Coxcult shows how the number 72 is important to the cult and how that translates to the use of the pentagram as a mystical worship device. Furthermore, it shows the depth of depravity in the use of moon worship to which the membership has been led by stealth by the wickedness and evil of the leadership. The leadership also made a covenant with the people of the Christian Churches of God through the church constitution, but the church leadership has broken the covenant. Scripture has a few things to say about such men:
Jeremiah 10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Jeremiah 50:36 A sword is upon the liars; and they shall dote: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.
Ecclesiastes 5:1-5 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.
:2 Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter any thing before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.
:3 For a dream cometh through the multitude of business; and a fool's voice is known by multitude of words.
:4 When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed.
:5 Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.
:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?
- Romans 1:28-32

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

So yes, Wade Ewart Cox is accurate when he claims that he has had death threats. He's had them over the last decade. He really should take the death threats seriously. Patience is wearing thin. Time is almost up.
The death threats are from God.
